Ampair  has just revealed  its sleek new award winning 6000W (6kw) wind turbine, the latest in a long line of reliable, rugged and quiet wind generators made by the UK based company.

Primarily aimed at  powering domestic householders, farms and public utilities, we're confident that this MCS approved 6kw wind turbine is going to prove very popular. Quality

Like all Ampair turbines, it is manufactured from high quality marine grade materials making it particularly suited to remote, coastal or cold-weather applications and in keeping with the company’s quality ethos is designed to be compliant with the IEC 61400-2 standard for a Class I turbine, which means it can be easily and safely installed worldwide. It is a fully sealed unit that does not require costly annual servicing.

A range of of tower heights  is available including  -  10m,12m and 15m, we would always recommend a taller tower, as the extra height yields more kwhs over the lifetime of the turbine. With the restructuring of planning regulations in Northern Ireland for domestic wind turbines, the 12m option could be the most straight forward option in terms of planning permission being successful.

The price for the grid connected 230V system on a 10m mast is just £13,500+VAT (does not include any grants that may be available under MCS certification)
